Beautiful engine sound past 4k with OFT 93 Stage 1 tune
 

Flashed the OFT Stage 1 tune last week. It might be just in my head but I've noticed when I rev past 4k there's a different powerful sound the engine makes.
It's not a deep rumble, but a lighter sound. Almost like fuel injectors working their way. :bonk:

Anyone else get this?
I do feel the torque dip is better now. :burnrubber:

Ohh didn't notice that before the tune. Just in my head then I guess.

It's not in your head..the OFT maps use more aggresive AVCS mapping

I suggest confirming that there is no small animal trapped in your airbox :)

Didn't know the AVCS timing were controlled by the ECU. I thought variable timings were controlled mechanically like my old civic without input from the on-board computer. Thanks for the info guys.
Time to feed the hamster running my airbox ;)
