Scion FR-S 1/24 Scaled Custom model
 

I made this car model a year back to replicate as close I can to a friend's Scion FR-S. It was all painted from scratch, and assembled by myself. I had initially planned to keep it as part of my personal memory collection, but my friend's daughter had just came off of chemo for leukemia, and needs help paying for the treatment bills. Therefore, I'm auctioning my Scion FR-s model on ebay for those who might be interested.

Very nice job! You said in your reddit that you are an amateur but I actually build models competitively (yes there is a such thing) and you did a first class job on that one. I have seen worse jobs go for $100 or more so I hope you do well with your auction.

My win of the model is only tempered by the fact that I hit a guard rail last week in my actual car. No car for two weeks, so I guess I will be driving this thing!

My car is only plastic and metal though, more important is the human element and all my wishes and thoughts are with your young ill friend, I wish her nothing but the best and a speedy recovery.

is there a gofundme or some way just to donate without auction option?

I would be down for that. I was happy to pay more, my bid limit was higher. Would give the full amount that did not get bid if you post a way since its for a cause.

Thank you so much for the support guys, you have no idea. It has brought me to tears. We shall put into considerations a gofundme page. Never did one before, but I shall bring the idea to them! Congrats sgtcarrot for winning the auction! I shall be getting it ready to ship later tonight. I'm debating the best way to ship it without it sustaining damage, as I know how rough shipping can be.

Hi guys, so I have talked with my friend and his family and finally convinced them to start a gofundme campaign. They have been very humbled and convinced me to make the goal down to half of the designated medical treatment bills, out of feeling guilty of accepting other's hard earned money
