Lake Placid Day Trip From Montreal
 

Hey guys! I was thinking of making a trip to Lake Placid this Saturday with my girlfriend. I've gone twice before. Once spontaneously, and once I was passing though on a road trip.

I'd like to actually plan something out this time around though.

Probably going to take the 30 South to Lake Placid. On the way back the 3 to 87, or 86 to 87. Unless somebody has some other suggestions for great roads.

I'd like to make this a full day trip. I'm figuring 3 hours of driving each way. Leaving between 6:30 and 7:30 in the morning to maximize daylight. I'll pretty much have all day to do things, so any activities or events in the region this weekend feel free to let me know!

PS. Car is lowered on Eibach sportline, so smoother roads are better :)
