Dyno Results - OFT Stage 2 UEL + Openflash Header + Full Exhaust
2 Attachment(s)
Local Miata group was having an event at 42 Autosports in Concord and kindly let me tag along to their dyno day since I was interested what the BRZ would put down once everything was installed.
I have Openflash UEL, OFT Stage 2 UEL 93 tune, Perrin OP, Motiv catted FP and Perrin catback. Also a Perrin inlet tube and K&N drop-in. No other power mods. Ambient temperatures weren't bad, maybe low 70s. 42 Autosports has a Mustang dyno, which typically reads a little lower than Dynojet. I was pretty satisfied that it ended up putting down 183/155. I've attached a pic and the graph below. Torque dip is gone, but that was easy to tell just by how it drives now. So much more pleasant. Lots of torque vs. stock. I think with E85 it could've gotten over 200whp on that Mustang dyno. Might need to give that a try in the future! |
How did the MX-5s get on in comparison?

42 Autosports is great! Tell the owner his friends from North Dakota say Hi, thanks again for all his help!

I wish I had the opportunity to run it stock, but never really thought about it. One of the guys who works there also has a BRZ and ran his stock. I'll message them and see if they can overlay his stock results against mine. If I can get it from them, I'll post it up. |
Stock is between 161-170ish whp I believe depending on dyno

For the second half of this past summer I was running E85, and that feels even more amazing. I tried to get back down to this dyno, but they didn't host the same event again :(. |
