Tire size for square 18x8.5+38 lowered on coilovers?

I want a pretty wide tire for looks, and to fill the wheel gap as much as possible without rubbing. No spacers and no fender rolling.

What tire size would you guys recommend? And if you have pics, even better!!!

Thanks 86fam

The search doesn't pull up much. Not many people have this 18x8.5 square. The one thread I did see, he ran much smaller tires than I would like.

Thank you. Do you have any pics of that setup by chance? Or have you run this personally?

Thank you again for your reply!

I'm running staggered with 245/40/18 in the rear, 235/40/18 in front, lowered on Tein coilovers. Took finessing and fine tuning of ride height, the clearance of rear wheels from fender lip is less than tip of my finger. Which is saying alot considering I'm pretty petite and if anyone could space the gap it would be my little hands lol

Ended up getting 245/35/18 and already mounted. Still on stock suspension until my coilover shop has a slot opening for me next week. I will take pics once done.

Thanks for input.

EDIT: Maybe I should of got 255. WELP. Next time...

BTW: Anyone need stock tires and wheels now? Lol.

255 is to much tire for a 8.5 inch wheel, 245 is the business.

I would say that depends on the wheel and lip. e.g. 245 on 8.5" 57xtremes still have a stretched look to me.

I have the 57dr, i think 255 would have problems clearing the front though - hence why I went 245. Maybe a 245/40 would of worked?
