There is a balance between velocity and capacity, at a certain point if you increase capacity too much, velocity reduces and power is lost. I know you this, but people get screwed up when the term "back pressure" is thrown around |

The guys at CSG haven't signed off on this yet but here's a few sound clip for everyone. This project has taken much longer then expected but we're very happy with the direction it's headed.
Thanks again to Counter Space Garage for keeping things on track! Any ideas on price? Out of the 4-5 axlebacks on the market for this car, this looks promising. Also anything better exhaust tip wise? |

Pricing has not been established yet |

Regardless, you guys have proven that you're actually engineering it properly and taking time to make sure it's a functional design. I will totally look into buying this if and when it arrives, not many axle backs like this that retain decent sound quality of the car where it's not too loud with UELs. But I'd like to echo @Yoniyama : When the final product is finished, in order to make an informed purchase decision, please provide the following information: 1 Interior noise, OEM stock vs New Product; 2 Airflow (power and torque), OEM stock vs new Product 3 Weight, OEM stock vs New Product. Thanks again. |
I'm all in on the center exit:bow:

I wonder what will be simpler and less expensive (less manhours) to make .. to make just single center outlet tube (and pointing to rear of car, to drop need to route tubes by sides or above/below muffler) with flange to mount three types of exits (dual Y one, straight center, or single one-side exit), or as in pics - dual exits, that get passed as is, or united in single Y exit.
My bet seeing that in pics exit tubes also have that high quality Ace's bends/weldings, that it's cheaper and less work to make internal gas routing in muffler to one single center exit directed to rear from muffler, for exhaust exit tubes to have less bends/shorter lengths/less welds/less material .. |
