Merced Cars and BBQ/Potluck
 

I posted this on the NorCal86 - CenCal and Central Valley FRS/BRZ Facebook groups, but figured I'll cover all bases...

There will be a Merced "Cars and BBQ/Potluck” on November 14th at 10am until they close the park at Yosemite Lake at the Rotary Cove. This is located at the end of Yosemite Lake. The rental of the place is $145 for the building and is taken care of by the organizer of this event. The area should be big enough for all the cars that show up. If we want to roll-in as a group, let me know so I can ask to reserve a spot to line up. If you want to bbq, do bring your own food/grill to cook. There will be grills provided there, but bring your own just in case. The organizer will provide some drinks/food. Since it’s also “Potluck”, please feel free to bring food or drinks of your choosing. This is an all day event. Photographers will be there and every car will get a photoshoot. Everyone and all cars are welcome, so there will be lots of variety.

Again, let me know if you’re coming and I’ll add you to our numbers for parking together.

Anyone from norcal looking to go? I might beable to make it as long as the GF is up for it. If so, how many would be down to meet up for a caravan down there? not too far from the east bay area. located just south of Modesto/ Turlock in Merced. Less than 2 hour drive.

I'm going to to check merced out lol...

If the GF can get the day off I will go too. meet up in Stockton or near by and caravan down

Hey all. Just a bump as event is happening tomorrow. If you are coming and haven't responded via Facebook, please let me know. I'm trying to keep a set of spaces blocked off for us.

We have about 11 twins so far, but the event is open to all makes and models.

It's also a potluck / BBQ, so if you have something to bring, go for it!

I would go, but my gf only wanted to go if we could camp there, and now it's been getting to cold to camp... Also have a 3,000 word essay due tuesday.... I have 500 words... Lol.

Come on, Ive written 500 word essays on my phone while riding BART. Lol

I could do that no problem. It's the 3000... that I'm having trouble with.

I forgot all about this...I'm in LA at the moment. Arrived 1-2 hours ago. Forgot about it had to drive down to LA for family. Gonna come back to SJ tomorrow. Too Tired. Sorry, that I couldn't make it! Enjoy have fun and be safe! Hope the weather is awesome there!
