LED bangarang strip as DRLs mod
 

I remember seeing someone on this forum who was selling kits for the BRZ that keeps the bangarang halo strip on as DRLs on during the day. I cant seem to find the topic anymore and since I lost my bookmarks I dont have access to that link anymore. Can anyone direct me to that topic please

I know others exist which involve soldering but I believe this to be the one with the least hassle

I've got the Diode Dynamics 'Always on' kit. Worth the money. I unplugged the bottom 3-LED DRLs on each side and now I just have the boomerang on by itself during the day. Looks agressive, just like the new corvettes and audis! Worth it.

The problem with the diode dynamics kit is the drl is always on with the headlights. I don't want them on at night. Doesn't go well with the fog lights when both on.

You can turn off both the DRL or the boomerang when the headlights are on with the diode dynamics kit. There is a quick jumper that you move.

Nope still does not do what I want it to do.

I want all function stock except for the boomerang to be always on. I want the drl to turn off at night and be on during the day aka all stock except for the boomerang to be always on. Does not work.

I guess I have to do some custom wiring or leave it as is.

You didn't watch the video all the way through... You move a jumper and it will do exactly what you want.
