How do you remove the C-Pillar?
So I did a search on removing the Pillars on this car and there only seems to be tutorials on how to remove the A and B Pillars. I want to remove the C-Pillar because the "rear deck popping" issue most people have with this car is actually coming from inside the C-Pillar, at least in my car - anyone else? So how the heck do you remove this thing?

Perhaps he was referring to the interior trim on the C-Pillar as opposed to the entire C-Pillar.....lol

He means the plastic interior panel on the C pillar ya dingus.

Just so we are all on the same page, this is what I am referring to:
http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g2...S/DSC01595.jpg The rattling/clicking is coming from inside this. I want to learn how to remove this piece of plastic to get rid of the clicking. |

Both you and that thread are pointing to http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g2...S/DSC01595.jpg You somehow managed to find that image file location without going to that thread. But anyways, that's what you're looking for? |

I just had to look it up to see what the present Urban Dictionary has to say: "NOTE: a dingus is NOT a stupid person, because a dingus is someone who can make you laugh by doing stupid THINGS, but they are not stupid people. a stupid person is an idiot. idiot and dingus are different." Yep, another slow day in Puyallup ..... :( humfrz |

Okay...I have tried three separate times to attempt to remove the c-pillar cover and am having no luck. I am bending the plastic to the point where it is creasing. I actually yanked on it so hard it wont return back to normal. I am pretty sure if I yank on it some more it will break. Can someone please explain where exactly you stick the screwdriver to get this thing to come off properly? The guy in the other thread said to use a flathead to get a "finger holding" to remove it. I got the finger holding under it, yanking it, but won't seem to come off.
