Bags are for groceries.....

Or are they? Post some pics of those sexy "grocery getters"

I've been a coilover head my entire life on all my cars and I just pulled the trigger on a air bag system :confused0068:

I've done a lot of searching (and to NO surprise) didn't find much. I understand the twin is hailed for its driving capabilities and feel, people tend to shun it but no matter. It's practical for my application as I do not track my car.

Lets make this a thread where specifically only bagged twins post pics? if it exist already some please point me in the right direction...

Here are a few that I found on my laptop. Been bagged for over a year now with air lift performance and v2 management. No complaints. I drive pretty hard on the daily and the bags are holding up just fine. Did an autocross and about to do 2 drift events next month. So I'd say that they're definitely not for groceries lol. :burnrubber:

Thank you sir, even though I am sure you meant your post out of sarcasm it actually helps me in two way, one you prove my point. Out of hundreds of thousands of threads only 4 came up and very vague....

But secondly I thank you because one of those links lead me to another member on here who is being very helpful through PM...

However my hope is that new/future members wont have to go through what I am going through right now...

There is no dedicated bags thread, I would like to make this a thread where people feel comfortable snapping a pic everyday and showing off their set up, but mostly to help each other out

For example,
1. I don't know if running my current set up of 18x9+35 on a 245/40 will clear the front struts.
2. I don't know if I must remove/alter/swap out any suspension components...
3. Do I need to roll the fenders etc..

All this is NOT based on will I rub my fenders (I can simply visit the aggressive wheel thread) this is about clearance from the Air strut.

I have 18x9.5 +38 with 245/35 and I doubt I could be bagged. I can't even use aircups :(

This thread title is misleading. I thought it would have the secret of how the keep the groceries in the bags by the time you get home from the store - the contents are always out of the bags and the bread transformed into tortillas...

Id say go for it! I know that this is gonna sound trendy, but when i saw that some semi pro/internet famous drifters (google risky devil speedhunters and final bout 2 coverage) were running them on their drift cars i kinda started looking at them twice. I say its the best of both worlds and the technology has caught up with the performance crowd. So you can get all the cool kid points for being low when your parked but you can raise for it speed bumps and crappy conditions.

Definitely gonna consider an air set up in a few years when its time to refresh my frs's leg work.

What the frick is this thread even about? I'm so confused.

Using the SRS airbags in the car to get groceries is what I got out of OP's post.
