Need help disabling high rev cold start with OFT

Is there a DIY or canned tune for disabling the high rev cold start? I think this car has given me a nasty case of ringing in the ears (tinnitus). I have always had a very vague ringing, but it was so low volume that I never gave it a second thought. Ever since I installed OFH and Perrin 2.5" it seems to have gotten worse. Now it's to the point where I feel like my head is going to explode when I'm sitting alone in a quiet room.

The only thing I can think that would cause this is the car. I think it's the header and exhaust, combined with the amplifying effect of starting it in the garage. It doesn't actually cause me any pain or anything, but it literally shakes the entire house during the high rev cold start. Light fixtures on both floors rattle like crazy until the revs drop. When I start it up in the outdoor parking lot at work, it doesn't seem that bad.

Either have to get rid of this cold start, or put the stock parts back on. I'd rather eliminate the cold start because I don't want to deal with effort or expense of reinstalling the stock parts, plus I don't really want to give up the extra power.

Right now I'm running a canned E85 UEL OFT tune. The high rev cold start lasts about 50 seconds. For the time being, I'm just wearing shooting range ear protection when I start it up. I really hope I haven't permanently damaged my ears.. the ringing is unbearable and there's no cure and not much for treatment, as far as I can tell.

Ok, I just found this after digging through another thread on the topic:

1. download romraider software from the link provided on downloads page.
2. download thr romraider definitions
3. on romraider site read the how to use romraider info
4. open your tune file in romraider
5. alter required tables, dont alter anything that you dont understand
6. save modified tune file
7. load modified tune file to your OFT
8. FLASH modified tune to car
9. enjoy, drink beer

I guess I'll give it a shot.. though being a novice, I don't know if this will be specific enough for me. Was hoping for a step by step diy with screenshots, if that exists anywhere. I can probably figure it out I guess.

Very old screenshot (almost a year old) but it shows what needs to be changed:

This is a (very) quick How-to I created for the Dutch GT86/BRZ community.
I translated it very quickly for you. Just use the parts you need.
Steve99 has also some nice topics about this.

RomRaider (RR)
- Start RomRaider, it will tell that there are no definitions configuered, ignore this.

http://i59.tinypic.com/102wfaf.png

- We are going to add the OFT one for the correct callId

* Go to ECU defintion manager

http://i61.tinypic.com/8x0u0w.png

* add the correct definition for your calid (something like OFT_ZA1JB01C.xml)

http://i59.tinypic.com/rhn14o.png

press 'Apply' and 'Save'

* Open the rom

You will see this:

http://i62.tinypic.com/2hrcnig.jpg
Ignore it, it's normal with OFT roms

Edit the necessary tables to your liking. (my example is the Launch Control)

http://i60.tinypic.com/143pa3t.png

Now we are going to save it, press on the harddrive icon and give it a name (ex: stg2_UEL_Cold_start.bin)
http://i58.tinypic.com/208vi9l.png

Open OpenFlash Manager, upload it to the OFT and flash the car.
