Alignment of steering wheel changes....

1 Attachment(s)
So a strange issue. 90% of the time I drive the steering wheel is at the 1 o'clock position and the other 10% it is straight like it should be. I can't find a reason that it changes. I did curb the car badly and then had it aligned again. Since then the issue has been this way. When I rotated the tires I noticed they are wearing more heavily on the front insides. I am running the car low and with camber plates and bump steer Whiteline products in the front. Help please. Attachment 120164

how are the roads that you are driving on? some roads are not perfectly flat and you will have to compensate for it. how are your suspension components, mainly tierods and balljoints? are you sure they have not been damaged in your impact with the curb? although you might have gotten an alignment, there might have been damage such as bending on the tierods that the alignment shop might have not caught. also make sure that the alignment shop tightened the lock nuts on your tie rods.

if your tires are wearing heavily on the inside, that most likely means you are running a lot of negative camber. if you get a wavy pattern (up and down), then you might have blown shocks. if you notice feathering, then your toe is out of spec

I recommend you take it in to an alignment shop, let them figure it out.

Did you notice this before or after your alignment? Chances are that your alignment shop set up your alignment "straight" but did not compensate for road crowning ( roads are typically not completely flat to allow for drainage). Take it back to your alignment shop, they should be able to fix that in 10 mins.

110% that alignment shop did jack shit.

The fact your insides are worn out means just that. I would tell the mechanic about your camber plates, that way they can work with it.

If they didn't notice and didn't ask I'd run far away. Take it to a dedicated performance shop. It cost more but worth it every time.

Thanks. I will do all that. I want it right before my new wheels/tires are put on. Anyone recommend a shop in the Bay Area? North Bay or Sacramento?

Try searching around the norcal subforum, I'm in the east bay, so not too familiar in that area.
