Mrxchris' Whiteout Build

I really wish I had started this when I got the car back in April 2014.
I bought the 2013 model used with 8,359 miles. However due to not having a real camera and some laziness I was never able to do so. Now that I have a decent camera, I'll start documenting any changes coming to the car.

For now, this is how she sits (as of 9/13/15):

My first car (2010 Honda Fit) got totaled by someone running a red light. I really liked the car, very practical, economical, roomy and fun to drive!

However, a replacement was needed and it took me awhile to find a used one that was clean while being a manual! I found one at Longo Toyota and went up to pick her up immediately (after some negotiation).
Here was how she was when I first got her at 8,359 on the odometer.

First mod was to replace the lighting inside and out. I installed DDM Tuning 5k/35w HID kit and LEDs on my license plates and interior lights.

Her first tank (with me :P)!

I felt that the stock catback sounded very weak, so I found a Q300 for sale locally and installed it.

I only spent a week with the Q300 as it wasn't dramatic enough for my liking. The sound was very subdued. I found what I was originally looking for, a TRD Catback. The sounded was perfect for my ears, nice and deep but not overly loud.

After a couple months of saving, I bought ST Coilovers from Evasive Motorsports locally. Installed them along with 20mm/25mm spacers to avoid a tucked wheel set up.

I bought the Racing Solutions front lip off a fellow member and got it repainted with a perfect paint match at a local paint shop. The same week, I picked a set up TRD Replica Sideskirts from a local member. The paint was in good condition already so I didn't need to repaint it. Here is me test fitting the combo.

That same day, I painted my Winjet Chrome headlights and installed both the headlights, sideskirts and lip all at once.

Purchased and installed a set of Tom's USDM Red Taillights from a part out.

Picked up the Openflash Tablet and UEL combo from a local member. Installed and tuned!

The power gains were great. I tried to keep my expectations low but man the combo blew me away. The car felt like a totally different car and is now even more of a blast to drive. Can't replace that rumble....

Finally some wheel upgrades after wearing the stock tires out. I picked up a set of 18x9.5 +38 RPF1s at LSD Motorsports and 245/35-18 tires from discounttires.com and got them installed at a local shop.

I picked up a Nikon D7100 a couple weeks ago and my first shot was one of my car of course!

I like the look of this car... very simple but it works. nice job.

Simple. Clean. Stylish. Looks like perfection if you ask me, I want mine to look similar to your build. Well done OP!

Very nice sir! I agree with the others, very clean and elegant. It's what I'm trying to go for with my SWP BRZ.

I'm not really a fan of FRS because of the front bumper, but man yours looks TOO clean. 👍🏽
