Fantasy Football 2015 - Discussion, Help & Advice
Football season is here! :happyanim:
You can post your team, ask for advice on who to start and sit, potential hot pick ups, match ups, ect. Good luck to everyone! |
Here's my team for now. I'm far too stacked on RB and Defense. Mainly waiting for week 1 to be over so I have easy drops.
QB - Drew Brees, Matthew Stafford RB - CJ Anderson, Rashad Jennings, Arian Foster, CJ Spiller, Tevin Coleman, Devonta Freeman WR - Demaryius Thomah, Jordan Matthews, Devante Adams, TE - Zach Ertz D/ST - Panthers, Rams, Dolphins K - Matt Prater |
Solid choices man. Should be interesting to see how stafford and brees do this year. Same for spiller when he gets back from injury.
Solid WR core and Defenses. My team is ok. Performed kinda under par this week. Winning but I don't think I'll be able to hold out through tonight. Hopefully better match ups next week QB - Ryan Tannehill, Colin Kaepernick RB - Eddie Lacy, Alfred Morris, Rashad Jennings, Alfred Blue, Darren McFadden WR - T.Y. Hilton, Golden Tate, Michael Crabtree TE - Greg Olsen, Julius Thomas D/ST - Bengals, Bills K - Matt Prater Not too stoked on my wide receivers. Going to try and grab a dallas wide out now that Bryant is out for a bit and see if I can score James Jones now he seems to be solid for Green Bay. Probably get rid of Alfred Blue and McFadden |
guy wants to trade me Percy Harvin and Ameer Abdullah for Eddie Lacy. Thoughts?
Ended up nabbing stevie johnson in waivers but my wide receivers are pretty meh |

Lacy is a bonafide stud first rounder. The other two are good, but not worth Lacy. Harvin will get injured but give you 4 or 5 good games Abdullah should be the next Joique Bell from 2 years go. He looked fast and ran hard. Still not Lacy. Stevie Johnson was a good grab. He'll be a solid flex all season long the passing volume stays high (which it should). |
Don't give up Lacy. Although I'm looking at trading for Abdullah, I think he's going to be a stud.
I managed to pick up Jones. He has more of Rodgers trust than Adams, but I will keep Adams on my bench just in case. Try to pick up Terrance Williams since Dez Bryant is out for a bit with a foot injury. |
Yea I declined it. Also decided Harvin wasn't worth it.
Missed out on Jones, someone was ahead of me in wavers. Williams was drafted so unfortunately he's not an option. Beasley doesn't have enough upside to warrant starting him in my book. You never know but still. |
Beasly won't be much of anything, not that I think of at least.
If you're lacking any TE, I think Seferian-Jenkins will be good. He's with a rookie QB and seemed to be the "go to" guy when he was looking for an open guy. He might just be his safety net. |
ADVICE NEEDED: Is Mark Ingram for Alfred Morris a fair trade? I have Mark Ingram. Thanks!
|
I would wait until after week 3 for that trade.
Brees has a hurt shoulder, so Ingram might get some work done in week 3. If he has a big game, you may be able to get someone better than Morris. |
Better flex play in a PPR (i can flex WR and TE)
Ladarius Green or Travis Benjamin (I'd have to drop Green to roster Benjamin). |

TFW you pick up Travis Benjamin on waivers, and the Browns announce McCown as the starter. |

This just happened. No joke. :bonk: The team better run plays for that fast mofo. Thankfully my league gives kick return yardage, but still. |
I ended up picking up Matt Jones on waivers and might start him instead of demarco murray..
