Lone Star Le Mans - Sept 17th - 19th
 

I was wondering if anyone here was going to Lone Star Le Mans at COTA next week? It's from 9/17 to 9/19. We bought "car corral" tickets & I guess I'm parking & doing parade laps with the Toyota group. I'm not sure how all that works. Anyway, I missed it last year, but heard it was really fun from a bunch of different people. Link for info below...

Yeah I saw that on Jalop... Unfortunately it was during the Parade Laps, and I coulda' gone afterward, but the wife was tired...


Lone Star LeMans was a massive blast though... It was almost racing overload... almost... They've already released the date for next year - 9/17/16. I've already earmarked to take a few days off for it!


I met a nice older gentleman with a black Series 10 (IIRC) at the Car Corral. He lives out in Leakey, in the heart of the 3-Sisters. Nice guy, not sure if he gets on the forum, but "hello" if you're here... In the Car Corral, there were the usual Mustangs of various flavors, a couple of Ferrari's, a clean Esprit, & a couple of GT40's, etc... but there was a massive Z contingent. I kid you not, there must have been at least 20-30 very nice 350's & 370's out there....


Guys, straight up... I haven't even touched on the racing (which was pretty damn good in itself), but I can't recommend checking out Lone Star Le Mans enough. If you're a sports car enthusiast, it's a must see event.
