Trunk Garnish - Factory Color - Emblem Delete?

Does anyone make a trunk garnish that deletes the factory emblem? I just want a blank, firestorm panel please. No holes for an emblem.

Exactly like this, but factory color.

Take it to a body shop, That is what I did. No idea on cost as I had my bumper and trunk replaced after I got hit but it looks way better.

Obviously an option, but my car is fine and I am a fan of the pre-painted, stick on parts, as I have had decent luck so far.

Just remove the badge. There are no holes it is just glued on.

Edit: Ahhhhh shit there are holes! No idea why I thought there wasn't. I am a fool. Nevermind.

Ya I know. I was editing while you were responding. Had it in my head that there wasn't for some strange reason.
Not to mention I looked right at the pic clearly showing the posts on the emblem before I linked it.

I had my rear emblem deleted (shaved/repainted) when I had a few other body parts painted, that's probably your best option

Timmy_Jones 09-08-2015 01:48 PM

I may bite the bullet and do the front and rear emblem at a shop, but I can only imagine the price....heck, might as well delete the antenna and smooh the roof over.

I get more looks and questions than before, with the new wheels and lowering springs, no emblems would really set it off.

Side note; is it illegal to delete badges from a car? In case a cop wanted to ID the car?

No. Still got the VIN number on the inside door part thingy. (obviously, that is an industry-wide technical term)

People remove or rebadge all the time.

JDsThatGuy 09-08-2015 06:06 PM

all of those pieces require more prep and paint, just shaving the rear emblem should be pretty cheap

Rear emblem might look ok, but deleting the front looks like crap IMHO as the body lines flow to it.

As that panel is easily removed, it shouldn't be hard to have it shaved and painted.

The FR-S may be more difficult, but has been done: http://i.imgur.com/aqO4fJC.jpg

It's 100% obvious that it's missing something there. I have yet to see anyone take the style lines out though.
