oem navi plays music but won't read card
 

My car was weird yesterday and wouldn't turn on, so when I checked the battery connector was a little loose so I tightened it. When I did that it sorts surged, the navigation turned back on, but now when I like the maps button it goes to the screen to hit past the warning but then it won't go past that... anyone have any idea why? I ejected the SD card and it says that the SD card is inoperable
