thread page problem
Recently, when reading a thread with multiple pages, the page jumps back to page 1.

Hope that helps |
I am finding the same problem on ALL the threads now and this is only a recent thing so now I do not think it is for the reason you suggest.
MODERATORS .... can you help please? BTW Ichi .... your Blog is brilliant and useful |

& thanks, I haven't updated in a while, so feel bit guilty lol |
Thx. I see that you are a moderator.
There are no error messages appearing. The thread page I am on (e.g. page 5) simply goes away and I am back at page 1 of the same thread. Is there somewhere else that what is happening is being logged and I can send that? |

Might just be from him being from a land down under where women glow and men plunder, beer does flow and men chunder, and things move backwards. Perhaps one is five and five is one.

Like Tcoat stated, it might be do with web browser more than the site. |
Thx people. I tested the site with I.E. and there's no issue. My usual default browser is Google Chrome. I repeated the test with Chrome and have the same problem. As Chrome is hugely popular and no-one else is having my problem it is a mystery so far.
If anyone can explain with a definite explanation then let me know. Otherwise, just let it go while I try a few things. If I hit on a solution I will report back. |

Reset your chrome profile and that'll revert it to stock settings and see if that effects it:

thanks FRSBRZetcetc . I tried your suggestion but W8 will not let me rename Default (saying it is being used). I tried again after a re-start and still says the same. I did not have Chrome open at the same times.
FYI I have the same problem with the ft86club site on my chromebook which uses the Chrome OS and chrome browser. If I fix on my PC, how or will I be able to repeat your method on my chromebook? Also, a week ago I posted the problem to Google. I am using the latest version of Chrome. |
