Tranny to Driveshaft Oil Leak

I searched this topic, didn't find anything, please don't hate if something exists.

So the other day I'm under the when I noticed some oil puddling up on where the drive shaft meets the transmission.

Has anyone had this issue before? Going to take it to the dealer but just wanted to see if this is common/ should be covered under warranty (provided they don't say hurp a durp this was caused by your exhaust headers)

It's not common but these seals leak from time to time. However that one is a very easy fix either for a dealer(if it's covered) or to do yourself.

Was doing my first oil change when I discovered this leak. Took it to the dealer and after service tech checked, it was no brainer warranty repair. The 6AT rear seal is about $7(US) and I was in their waiting area for 45 minutes to an hour while it was replaced.
