What do I do now?

I always park in the middle of no where so that nothing ever happens. Inevitably, someone must have parked behind me. Or I could have been half retarded somewhere along the lines and not known about it.

I need to know how to go about fixing this? This looks pretty f'd up in my opinion. Like I feel like I can see the body below. This is on the bumper below the trunk, left of the license plate.

I feel so upset right now because I noticed it now. It feels deep.

Help :c

Your choices are get it repainted, or try your hand at touch up paint.

Touch up paint won't look good, so you could just live with it. The bumper's plastic so nothing's going to rust.

If you want to go the opposite direction, you can get the entire car wrapped in vinyl to cover it. Or, find a fun sticker that you won't mind sitting on your bumper.

Yikes. I'll have some local body shops take a look at it tomorrow.

Anyone have an idea of what something like this will cost to have corrected?

Thanks.

200-400 dollars, probably. The lowest end would be Maaco, and they're around 200. Private shops will be more expensive, but you won't have to worry about it coming out terribly.

A good detailer should be able to take care of this for you as well. If say 200-300 is a good estimate. Good luck!

That's clearly through the paint. A detailer can clean up the area where there's still paint, but that's down to the plastic.

put a sticker over it and call it a day

Most detailers do touch ups as well from what I've seen.

Well. Better news. Went out earlier and took a toothpick and a microfiber to see the damage. Turns out that dark grayish area was their paint. It's still badish but not noticible at all. A sticker would hide it completely. It honestly has rolls in it like if you rolled a dime across the paint as if it was drying.

Use some touch up to fill the rolls and give her a good buff. You will still know it is there but 98% of the other people looking will never even notice.

8-1200 depending on the shop and what they actually do, its right around a grand for a generic bumper repair at my shop but we are a more high end shop.

MAACO does quality work man. I had them paint my 300zx TT and they even sprayed the entire underside of my car and exhaust for free for no additional charge.

I'm surprised they missed the windows and tail lights.
