How much have you put into your car so far?

Just wondering how much money you guys have spent on your cars so far in terms of mods. My build is not anything crazy but I was a little surprised at how much I have spent, a little over 4,000 in a year in and a half. Heres my list of mods:

- TRD truck lip spoiler
- OEM Mudflaps
- Beatsonic Antenna
- 3M Tint 35% all around
- Valenti Red lens white bar taillights
- OEM Diffuser
- Painted Brake Calipers red
- OEM armrest
- Eonon GA5167 4.2 Android Headunit
- 6" Infinity Reference Speakers
- Mini 0805 dash cam
- Weathertech floor mats
- K&N drop-in oil filter
- Greddy Sp Elite Axle-back
- Berk High Flow Catt front pip - Rota Titan 17x8 et 42 painted glossy
- Sumitomo HTR III Z 225/45/r17
- Eibach Pro-kit Lowering springs
-Cs front lip

I know you are asking for mods... but does fuel count? xD I've spent more on fuel than mods.

Other than that, just a couple of small cosmetic stuff.

-Red center console plaque from Yospeed
-Custom engraved door sill from Yospeed
-LED license plate lights
-OEM BRZ spoiler + color match repaint
- Few other stuff that I can't seem to recall right now...

Performance-related mods coming soon

About a thousand. All I've done was a shift knob and coilovers.

JS + BRZ 08-27-2015 09:26 PM

Around 2K.

Wheels
Tires
Coilovers
Brake pads
Track pipe
Fake sti front/side lip
Drop-in filter
Shiftknob

I'm pretty damn satisfied with the set up. I ONLY buy the parts if it's a great deal, so I saved a lot of $$.

I did about 8-9 track days. Think I spent about $800 for those.

3,000 in JUST ace headers - overpipe - and front pipe - and a moto east flex fuel kit and tune (cable and license too).

1k in miscellaneous - flywheel- leds - tail as turn - strut bar- MC brace - shift knob - reverse lockout - perrin lockdown - whiteline positive shift kit - carbon fiber for skinning.

And a sweet deal on some Eibach coils in the mail for 1300.

So almost 5 and a half thousand... I've had the car for 3 months.......... this has been eye opening..

Not to mention all the time some of us obsess over this forum lol. Myself included. I'm bad.

Tree fiddy.

DSOmegaX 08-27-2015 09:44 PM

I've easily spent over 10k and I'm not even boosted so don't feel bad guys lol

Well, between November and May I accumulated parts (and installed most of them) for an 80% maximized STX build. Add to that summer wheels/tires, winter wheels/tires, front/rear dashcams - well, it adds up.

It's a little silly at some level, but what the heck...

Tint
Clear bra
TRD Exhaust
RS*R lowering springs
TRD drop in filter
Colour matched Scion spoiler
All installed
Tinted license plate covers with chrome frames
Installed myself

=
$1,018.72

So far the total value of all the different rims I have I have chosen but not bought would equal the GDP of some small Eastern European countries.

Maybe $1500-2000. Probably won't spend much more, car is right where I want it and I want other toys :bonk:

spdfreak 08-27-2015 10:25 PM

5k easy.
Full exhaust+ecutek tune+coilovers+winter and summer wheels/tires= broke AF

That's not even including all the little cosmetic things. I'm just starting on getting bushings and mounts so it'll be ready for some boost.

Not at all mad about the cash, though. This thing is a huge source of happiness for me.
