Can somebody tell me the name of the anime that is about future Tokyo sort of falling into a civil war? I have these vague memories of a cop on a crowded bridge, and later of some helicopter gunships shooting up some parked mecha in a hanger, mini-guns shred off the mecha's armour and it leaves the metal skeleton before destroying it too.

That's all I can really remember.

It can say the same thing for America. Why American company made Macross/Robotech series?

BTW I watch Bleach off and on, the new stuff is starting to really annoy me. I read the Manga and the new material is just crap... I have watched a few good anime though, like Fruitsbasket, Chobits, I even watched Naruto for awhile and Shippuuden(:facepalm: ). I also watched Darker than Black, Full Metal Alchemist:Brotherhood(better than the original), Deathnote. I tried watching Claymore, but it was blegh.

I started watching Shinraku! Ika Musume after I saw it come up in the GT vs Forza thread where someone mentioned Anime Livery. :lol: If I start ending posts with gesu you'll know why... I have been saying ika! for years as a statement of angst. I had no clue it meant squid. :bellyroll:

I watch too much. I keep up with most current airing series that hold my interest. My favorite would probably be Puella Magi Madoka Magica. If it weren't for anime and figure collecting, I'd have so much done to my car.

Yeah, Fate/Zero have been pretty good. Beelzebub started out weird, but it turned out pretty good. .Hack// have several series & Quantum is a new .Hack// series

.Hack has always been a fav. It requires a bit more thinking than most animes' lol.

Deadman wonderland ended early! WTF. But season 2 is coming out spring. Same with Ao no Exorcist.

Fairy Tail is awesome..

Dropped bleached too many fillers.

One Piece got really good after the crew got a make-over. :>

not sure how the Beelzebub anime is but the manga rocks

manga wise my 2 favorite mangaka are Takehiko Inoue and Naoki Urasawa. AMAZING artists and storytellers.

I'm loving Fate/Zero, especially in comparison to Fate/Stay Night. Carnival Phantasm is a great compliment to those, too.

Yeah, Bleach tapered off to mostly fillers. I know Bleach is all about the fights(/sarcasm), but geez.

I hear good things about One Piece but I watched a bit and wasn't entertained. Might have just been the dub.

Iono Wangan Midnight was a slow series for me. It wasn't as intense as Inital D.

I'm kinda disappointed on winter season anime series. There are some of major anime listed in there... but I wouldn't expect much (due to the directors & etc)

That one surprised me. Cindy's dub wasn't bad at all.

That's because her voice actor spoke proper, accent free English. :thumbsup: Some of the Japanese voice actors spoke some choppy, accented english. It was like they pronounced it one word at a time. The ending was the best. :bellyroll:

IDK why but I like Morita-san wa Mukuchi series. They're short epi, but funny enough
