Baccano! - like this series. You can see where Durarara came from & you'll get some jokes from Durarara.
Basilisk - few of my friends liked it... but it's pretty much Romeo & Juliet in Ninja form. I didn't like it, but if you like Beserk or ninja scroll, you might like it.
Xam'd: Lost Memories - not good as Eureka 7, but it's good. They try to make plot complicated from beginning, so be aware.
Chrono Crusade - this is another series that started out great, but ending was shitty...
Claymore - great series. Mid way through, they made a big change in the story, but still interesting enough to kept me going.
D.N.Angel - it's good in different way. Great art, great music & great story idea... but I can't say, it's great.
Darker Than Black - season one left you in the dark (get it? lol), season 2 starts out feeling like wtf. They try to fix it by making ova & gaiden... but idk. Still worth see it once.
Dusk Maiden of Amnesia - started out funny/weird. Overall good series and worth watching once... but worth watch it again? Not really.
Eden of the East - love this series. There's good laugh, seriousness, thinking & romance. This series is in my "Must watch" for sure. Movies were great too!
Fractale - I had so much high hope for this series... but they failed me. I didn't even bother watching the whole series.
Freedom Project - haven't seen it yet. It's in my hard drive, but never watched it.
Ghost In The Shell SAC - both seasons were good, but if you're not up to thinking or political stuff, avoid it. Still good series.
Haibane Renmei - interesting series. Love the artist (same artist from Last Exile & so on). Slower paste & cute, but there are few serious moments to keep things interesting.
Highschool of the Dead - excellent series. Big boobs jiggling in impossible movement, comedy, guns, katana fighting zombies, you can't ask more than that! Ova was omg... Too damn funny!!!
Infinite Stratos - good series. Just few stuff I don't like, but overall I go back rewatching it often.
Kiddy Grade - first season was good, but not great. Felt like they should of kept story style from the start. End arc they try to make it big/interesting... but they failed. 2nd season, don't bother.
Kino's Journey - great series. Love it! Each epi have topic that relate to current world problems. A bit slow series, but nothing crazy slow. Love these kind of anime that makes me think. Highly recommend it.
Vampire Princess Miyu - classic series. Tbh I can't remember enough to recommend it or not.
Monster - hm... Solid series. I liked it, but most of my friends didn't like it.
Moribito - slow series, but good series. All serious and story doesn't move as fast as hoped... but I kept watching.
Mushishi - good series. I only watched season 1 & half way through season 2. But overall good series. Only reason I stop watching was, I had too much on my watch list & had to let it go. I'll prob start watching again.
Noir - good series. Art is amazing, brought famous VA's, good actions & had a solid story. Worth watching.
Revolutionary Girl Utena - good series... but is it worth watching? Tbh not really.
Rin Daughters of Mnemosyne - love this series. Very interesting story & how it follows the charas relationship. But if you gonna watch it, watch it a lone, cuz there's a lot of nude/sex scenes.
Scrapped Princess - okay series. It's another series that they should of kept what they were doing, but instead they try so hard to make the story complicated... but failed.
s-CRY-ed - good action series. Worth watching... just not priority to watch. But keep in mind, several anime pun/quote some of this series (ex: My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU)
Banner of the Stars - another Romeo & Juliet series, but their original twist. It's interesting that not a lot of ppl know this series... & sadly, I kinda understand why.
Shiki - it starts out extremely slow & I get it... but it's questionable worth watching. if you gonna watch this, have a patience.
Psychic Detective Yakumo - interesting mix of detective and demon. I like detective animes, so I watched it all the through. I liked it for sure.
Soul Eater - loved it. I had good laugh out of it. Ending isn't bad either. Overall good watch. Just avoid watching Soul Eater Not
The Garden of Words - haven't seen it.
Zombie Loan - funny series. Felt short, but good watch for sure. Main girl (Michiru iirc) can get really annoying.
Movies:
Appleseed - idk which one you're talking bout, but most of em are good... Except, didn't care for last one.
King of Thorn - interesting movie & my friend liked it... but nothing to go crazy about.
Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind - I'm slapping you for not watching this anime. There's A LOT of comedy anime make a pun of this series, so for you not seeing it... SMH lol
Patlabor the Movie - great... but if you haven't read or seen the original anime, you won't get some of the bg story between charas.
The Girl Who Lept Through Time - good series... but that's pretty much it. Nothing really stuck in my mind to say "Man! This part was good!" Or "Oh do you remember this part? That was funny!" Or anything.
5 Centimeters Per Second - simple cute short movie. Loved it nonetheless.
