Joining the Nitrous users club
I have started to collect parts for my coming nitrous kit, I will be running a small 35-50 shot on top of the boost I am already running from my turbo.
The plan here is to be able to keep a street friendly sized turbo but have more on tap when need be. I will be mounting a NX Shark nozzle in my intercooler pipe 6" before the throttle body and running a NX Maximizer 4 controller for all the fail safes in one easy program. I do have the NX Plate for the FA20 but after talking to NX they said going with a single nozzle is better for a small shot. There wont be any dyno graphs real soon so dont get your hopes up but I just wanted to put it out there of another car hooking up a bottle! http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q...psnnchgghj.jpg For the F&F generation. http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q...pskrks6dd5.jpg Fits pretty nicely, need to sort out a solid mounting point. http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q...pslfrrarig.jpg |
i might be doing the same this winter. to spool up to load my torque converter though lol. selling that nx fa20 plate?

Cash talks, not sure if they are available to buy outside the kit.

Dry kit? Spraying it before map sensor? I am interested in going this route as well

Wet kit and after the MAF.
A Dry 35 after the MAF would be nice if I triggered ecutek to bring additional fuel. However I like to be able to adjust things independently. |
Came across a Nitrous Express Boost Reference Progressive Controller, sounds real nice.
"The BOOST REFERENCE PROGRESSIVE NITROUS CONTROLLER combines the functions of a throttle position switch, two RPM window switches, a MAP sensor and a 2 stage progressive driver all into a very compact module. It can progressively drive two channels, each with a 40 amp load capacity (continuous duty). The device also supports low-voltage OEM, V10 or 3 cylinder TACH signals without the need for additional adapters. It works with most OEM throttle position sensors including most drive-by-wire vehicles. This device also includes NX's "real curve" ramp, which allows you to create a progressive curve instead of just a ramp. The ramp can be either time based or Boost based. All this and it’s only the size of a spark plug box." |
