No bullshit backstories here. This is just a journal of my build progression.
Not going to bother posting my older pictures, you can view them here: http://imgur.com/a/Cajlr

I'll start with what I've done lately.

Acquired Beatrush camber plates:

Mounted on stock struts with Eibach Pro-kit springs:

The pro-kits are temporary until next year, when I plan on getting the RS-R Sport-i coilovers and swapping my Beatrush plates over to them.

That's all for now, hopefully I'll have some more exciting stuff soon.

Simple but awesome build, love the white paint with gunmetal Enkeis.

Racer-X rear LCA arrived this week. I had them anodized in gold with urethane rod ends.

Also, I sold the beatrush camber plates because they provided too much lift.
I knew that going in but thought it wouldn't be that bad, turns out it put me back at stock height. They are perfect for coilovers, not so much for OEM-sized setups.

Raceseng plates will be replacing them, install pics to follow.

Raceseng cascam plates arrived!

Initial fitting... the strut tower bolts were a bitch because the nut needs to be threaded from underneath.

Now here's where I encountered an issue. I was unable to increase camber beyond two markings on the plate, and I had no idea why.
Then I played around with the other plate and discovered the reason...

Because the OEM-sized spring perch is 90mm, it's so wide that it interferes with the strut tower bolt. This issue would never occur with coilovers, because they would have smaller spring perches.
After messing around with it, I found that I was able to increase my camber range at the expense of caster. By moving the plate towards the front (therefore decreasing caster), the strut tower bolt position gives more room for the perch to swing back.

My camber setting until I get an alignment:

And here's how much clearance is between the strut tower bolt and the spring perch. I am debating just throwing in the towel and going back to coils, but we'll see how this setup plays out.

At the very least I was able to get my tires tucked in a little more. After the install I went for a test drive, no harsh noises and I honestly could not make out any extra NVH.

I measured the height from ground to fender before and after: 654mm with OEM top hats, 655mm with the raceseng plates, so my ride height remained unchanged.

Overall I'm quite happy with the plates, they gave me an acceptable camber range (although I did have maxed out OEM camber bolts as well), they're well crafted and ride quite nicely.
I hope this post will be useful to anyone looking to use the cascam with OEM sized spring setups.
