Thanks.

Generic answers for any FI on this platform
Reasons why you shouldn't: - You don't want to negate your drivetrain warranty (if it still exists)
- You don't want to dump thousands of dollars into a car that still won't be as powerful as some other stock cars for less money
- You don't want to spend a day or two (or paying someone else up to a thousand bucks) for the install
- You don't want to deal with the potential issue of increased wear and tear caused by increasing the power output beyond what the manufacturer designed for
- You don't want to negatively impact your fuel economy
- You don't want to deal with additional supporting mods
- You live in a CARB state or one that performs a visual inspection of your emissions system and your FI kit of choice alters it
- etc etc etc...
Reasons why you should: - You love the car as it is, but you just want a few more horses
- You recognize that there are far cheaper ways to win a drag race, but that's not what you're trying to do
- You want to be able to keep up with the Camrys, Accords, and Town & Countries that are passing you on the expressway entry ramp
- Because racecar
As for the OFT300 specifically, I have such a package on my car - I bought it separately though, as Vishnu wasn't around when I got my Vortech charger. It's been on the car for about 2.5 years now, and I added the OFH/OFT about a year and a half ago. I had the ECUTek before that, but once I got the OFH, I figured I might as well get the deal with the OFT since Shiv had done extensive tuning work to get the entire package to work well together.
Would I do it all over again? If I wanted to stay on the 86 platform, definitely. But in hindsight, I've dumped so much time and money into this car (not just on FI) that I probably should've just bought a more expensive car stock to begin with. I like working on cars, and I have all the tools and space to do it, but as I get older, I'm finding that I don't really enjoy it as much as I used to when I was a young man - next car I'm just going to bite the bullet and spend more to get one already the way I want it.
