Contacted a dealer in South Dakota about a used 2014 BRZ with 439 miles on the odometer. Turns out someone won the car (new) in a drawing, drove it around for a while, and didn't have a need for it and sold it back to a dealership. (Clean CarFax) Aug 22, 2015: Picked up the minty BRZ in satin white pearl for $23,109. Using blue painters tape, we taped up the front bumper, part of the hood and the side mirrors before we got on the road. It looked ridiculous but always use protection. Roughly 8 hours and many prolonged gazes later, we're back in my drive way with 954 miles on the engine. Aug 23, 2015 Debadged, removed dealer stickers, and front plates (dealer drilled into bumper :mad0260: ) and washed car. Aug 24, 2015 Washed and waxed with Chemical Guys Butter Wax. Aug 26, 2015 New wheels. Enkei Compe. September 2015 Clear bra, windows tinted, red out (wrapped) tail lights. Plugged the holes the dealer drilled for the front plates. First oil change! April 2016 STI gurney flap, STI axle back Parts waiting to be installed this spring: ST coilovers with Vorshlag camber plates, STI font lip and HT auto lip kit waiting to be painted and installed Plans:
