I was looking for a pulley that could make that with the c38 and i wanted to double check it didnt worked. looks like ill be ordering the c30 then i guess

I'm still not sure what you're trying to do.

Are you trying to order a kit or a pulley?

long story that i didnt want to get into because it isnt relevant to this thread but i guess ill explain because we are here now.

i have been researching boost for a while now with the goal of 330-350whp on flex fuel. i know the c30 with the highboost pully gets me over that goal. Through my research i learned that this gets the c30 spinning at 95% its max rating, which im not a fan of. I also found out the c38 is geared differently and therefore this highboost pulley wont work with it. I have not found anything other than the "rs" pulley for the c38 which is way too much boost. im currently waiting on a credit card to arrive in the mail so i can churn 2 cards. when it does show up i plan on calling up csg to double check that whatever jrsc setup that fits the bill will work with a dw300c pump (it looks like this is not recommended), dw700 injectors, new koyo rad, jr oil cooler, and an ACT clutch, will work with my current setup which is ecutek with flex fuel kit, ace350 headers, jdl ultra quiet, and hks hipower single exit.

I'll fill in the gaps for you.

The HBP takes the C30 to it's limit at 7400rpm.

The HBP leaves about 10% on the C38.

You have nothing to worry about by taking the C30 to its limit; it's no different from winding out a stock engine to redline. It's safe, as long as you stay within the limits.

The DW300C pump is great; avoid the DW65C.

I'd recommend the ID 1050X over the DW 700cc injectors, if you have the budget available for it.

The ACT clutch is the best bang for the buck that will hold the power. If you want to eliminate the TOB failure, either replace your TOB when you do your clutch whether your current one is worn or not, or consider the CSG spec single clutch, which includes an upgraded throwout bearing and fork.

This will definitely get you to your power goal!

so with that said if i go c38 with the hbp will i have the same 7400 rev limit or is now the engine the limiting factor? one of the issues i have is i hit rev limiter in 2nd when i just need a few mph more which is why i want to get rid of my 17+ FD for a 3.7/3.9 lexus fd next year.

also just to confirm the koyo rad fits with the jrsc kit and the jr oil cooler? the injector change is noted and will order that as soon as chase gets my card to me. thanks

Both the C30 and C38 can be run with HBP to 7400 RPM.

You do not want to hit the limiter with any supercharger setup. This is very, very hard on the supercharger, and can cause a failure. That sudden shock load is also how you can lose belts.

If you are in need of more RPMs to wind out 2nd longer, use the standard pulley and increase your rev limiter.

Yes the radiator is compatible with the JRSC + JROC.

ok cool thanks for the info. ill fix the 2nd gear issue with a fd swap next year. i dont want to sacrifice power for redline since i still hit limiter at 7850 with 255/40/17s and im not nearly dumb enough to go higher unlike some people i know
