Bear Mountain

So I've been want to take my car for a long cruise and also wanted some curved roads along the way. So I decided to go to Bear mountain last night. The ride there was good everyone was driving fast after the njprkwy ended. Once I got to the mountain, while paying the toll, I thought to myself this is going to be fun. So after the toll I made a right turn and follow the bear mountain sign. There was plenty of twists and turns. Saw the scenic view sign. Drove past as fast as I could and then once I hit what I think is the bottom of the mountain the road became a highway again. I really didn't know if that was it. I felt like there should've been more. Did I miss something? Is there more the mountain besides the part I drove?
Please fill me in if there is more roads. I felt a bit unsatisfied, so drove that same road a few more times before I went home.
Thanks in advance for your input.

I live over there and I agree, go much over the limit and you're asking for it. The idiots driving there just gets worse as the year goes on. There are much better places to go driving and there really isn't much good driving in the park anyway. The only time I even bother driving through the park is at sunrise or at night.

I tried to organize a group drive in one of those better areas a few years ago but there was no interest (I know how to do them safely).

You need to go there with someone that knows their way around bear mount. I went there with someone that had more experience there. It was fun ! was going over speed limit and crazy turns. Like I said its fun if you know someone that knows their way around there. Yes you miss some parts. I usually go to Glen Rd and Waldon Rd in Oak Ridge to have fun theres only one lane road with no exits just woods and nice since its near by.In morning is recommended if a car is in front of you fun goes away unless you go around them on the opposite side of the lane. Better have a police scanner just in case but rarely cops there

Thanks for the replies. I knew there had to be more to the mountain. If you guys set up a cruise day I wouldn't mind joining. I see you guys also go to the Willowbrook meet. Can't wait to see other frs/brzs. I didn't see any twins while driving to BM btw...
