Thanks for posting, eager to see better shots of the back as well as the speed of the unit. Some of these chinese knock offs look so fast compared to Dashlinq4.

Also is there external mic connection?

Subd. Hopefully we can get some diy info on the newer model. Some things seem to be different than the original dashlinq4

Mine should be here today, I could take some pics and let you know how the install goes if you want?

Well i got mine all set up. it was fairly easy actually. I just need to hook up my aftermarket back up camera, the usb and aux adapters, and mount the gps antenna. the sound quality is awesome, but when i use bluetooth, i don't get any song info on the HU. it just says BT music. no song title, album art, or anything. still have to tinker with it a bit, but so far so good. If you use aux and usb adapters, let me know how please!

There was a comment in the other Ca-Fi thread about the previous model not receiving FM broadcasts in stereo with the stock radio app. Does the new CT model have this issue?

I'm really on the fence about purchasing one of these. i'm not a huge audiophile and for the most part the quality of the stock audio meets my needs. But I'd sure love to have Waze and Google Maps.

How about voice dialing an outbound call. How does that work?

I already have the USB adapter (I ordered it at the same time but it didn't take 2 weeks to build like the "CT" haha!) So I hope I got the right one. I will get some pics for you. I dont plan on using AUX never have used it so why bother set it up. Did you have to repin anything?

Well it turns out there's no spot on the back of the CT to plug in the usb adapter.. So i think we wasted money there. but yes i repinned the SWC wire after i snipped it to the open pin #9 on the CT harness. then i connected the free standing "amp con" (blue) wire to the half orange wire that i repinned.

I don't know about the voice dialing just yet, but the fm radio works just fine. I'm not a big fan of the stock radio because it seeks like this.. 91.01,91.02, etc. Maybe there's a setting to change it, but i haven't been able to play with it enough. i will have more time tomorrow.

yea i was pissed. I bought the wrong adapter at first, so i ordered the right one, sent the wrong one back, and now i'll have to send this one back, along with the aux adapter. I really just wanted the aux so i didn't have a usb and aux port on the dash that didn't work lol.
