Popping / Misfire / Dead throttle while cold

Hey guys, I have been having a very rough issue with my car and have been unable to troubleshoot it.

HKS V2 Supercharger, stock everything other than intake and exhaust, ECUtek with Delicious Tuning Flash and Go SD tune.

When the car is still cold and I'm driving it will suddenly lose power / start misfiring and becoming unresponsive to most throttle inputs and making loud popping sounds. Also stalls out very easily. The CEL will flash but not throw or store an actual code. I haven't had a chance to log this issue yet as both times it's got the jump on me.

As soon as it does this it seems to last a minute or 2 ... then it seems like when it's a little warmer it just magically starts running and idling perfect with good AFR's and no issues.

It did it tonight. It was so bad .. I could barely limp the car a couple blocks home then in my driveway it just started running properly. I proceeded to slowly drive around monitoring everything. No issues. I went for a very long drive and did several WOT pulls - everything was fine and not even a hiccup.

I'm seriously lost as to what could be going on. This only seems to happen if I try driving it when it's not up to temp. There is no issue with cold start or idle. If I just start it and leave it - the car idles fine at ~14.7. I always let it finish the cold-start high idle as well.

Talk to the guys at deliceous tuning i seem to remember some time back their was an issue with sd tunes in cold weather, pretty sure it was a simple fix

I don't mean cold weather.. I mean when the engine itself hasn't warmed up much.

It did this twice now with outside temperatures of 24°C and then 16°C

I've narrowed this down as far as I can. This seems to be related to warm-up.

If I start the car and don't drive it until it's fully warm the problem will not return.

Now what the hell is going on?

Take a look at your DI controller on the passenger side of the engine. Make sure that is properly grounded, we had a similar weird issue that ended up just being from that box not being properly grounded.

how would this be dependant on being at operating temperature? sounds like a bad ground would present issues at any temp.

Did you ever find a fix for this? I am experiencing a similar problem.
