^^ Probably not as much as the stock halogens or HID's. A friend sells HID and LED kits and told me not to get LED bulbs for low beams for that reason.

I heard that quite a bit too but driving around with these at nights I felt like everything was just so much brighter

I used double sided 3M tape and mounted off to the side. I will see if I can dig up a photo from when they were installed. Worked like a charm.
