New Haven County (CT) BRZ/FR-S?

I am in southbury ct, and I have seen not ONE brz/fr-s yet. I have seen a 458 italia multiple times, seen a mclaren mp4 or whatever they are called I forget, maserati's, lotus's, but no FR-S/BRZ. is there anybody in or around the area that has seen one/owns one?

I'm in Fairfield County with my WRB, I saw a SWP BRZ on 95 right around New Haven a couple weeks ago with dealer tags, and an FRS in Westport two days ago, but that's it.

If the FR-S in the Westport area was Raven, it was probably my son. He took delivery June 2nd. Needless to say, he is having fun.

It was an asphalt FRS and for some reason earned me a dirty look in my BRZ. I was just about to pull into Cooper's Auto if you're from Westport and had a long discussion with a guy in the parking lot about the car.

I'm in Bristol, but commute to Danbury. My fiance also drives the car to her job in New Haven at least once a week. Maybe you'll see me driving by on 84 one day. :)

Aside from the Hot Lava auto FRS that the owner of Toyota of Wallingford is driving around town (and that I test drove yesterday) I haven't seen one.

Though I've researched tons of subie and toyota dealership inventories and know where to see one sitting still.

Mine's. Coming. SOOOOON.

I've got mine up around candlewood lake and federal road in danbury pretty frequently.

We should definitely do a CT meetup once I get my car. ;) I'm in New Haven but work in Westport. I have an order in for Asphalt but I'm thinking I'll have them add Firestorm and just get me whichever comes first.

I've had my SWP BRZ since May 31st and have been driving it quite a bit. I'm heading down that way today then into NYC. It's my first time bringing the BRZ to NYC so I'm somewhat dreading it!

I was driving my ultramarine FRS down Chapel last week so I guess you're just not looking hard enough!

I've been all over the Litchfied Hills in CT including frequent stops in Southford, New Milford, Bridgewater, Kent and so on and have put 1,100 miles on my car since I picked it up on June 2. I'll be out on Monday in that general area and frequent the Lodge and Brookside Inn in Southbury/Oxford.

So here is the real question: Does anyone know of any good twisty driving roads in CT, especially around Fairfield or NH counties?

YoshiMike13 06-23-2012 04:30 PM
