I took a day and drove the Twisted Sisters in the Hill Country of central Texas recently. Here are some photos of the trip!

Yay horsies!

What a beautiful day. Thanks for sharing.

Sweet.
But why do you have my car and why did you jack it up 2 inches and change the antenna?
Oh wait you gave me fogs so fair enough.

Thanks, guys. The horses were a hoot; they were very curious about whether I had food or not. Also, not the fine patina of squashed insects on the front bumper.

Even though the pavement looks like crap in places, these roads actually have a surprising amount of grip. Noisy, though. I had to wear ear plugs due to the road noise itself! The total loop is about 100 miles and makes for a great day of enjoying the FR-S. BTW, Tcoat, I did NOT steal your car. Thought about it, but didn't do it.

This is the only part of Texas that I truly love. If Austin and the Hill Country seceded from the rest of Texas, I would go right along with it. We could call it "The state of Weirdness".

Nice photos, babydriver! I took my BRZ out there last summer but the road between Tarpley and Utopia was under construction and covered with tar and gravel which made for a slow drive until we could bet back to Hwy 83.
I have been riding/driving in that part of the hill country since the '70s and RR337 was a blast dragging footpegs around the tight corners.
I think the San Antonio FT86 group made a run up there a few weeks ago but I missed out on that event.

Oh man, you must've had a hell of a time!

I think that driving on that road was just amazing in this piece right?

Random thoughts list:
1. I hate fake geek girls who make money by cosplaying for geeks who want to mix sex and fandom. It's just creepy on so many levels in so many directions.
2. Tcoat being banned. Oh god, finally! Wait, he's not coming back is he? Damnit, delete comment!
3. I want to test drive a Tesla P85D.
