clicking noise from drivers side rear
Any one might have an idea what might be causing a clicking noise when I accelerate from a stand still in forward and reverse and then disappears once in motion . Sounds like metal on metal .I thought it was my muffler but couldn't simulate it . Any thoughts would be appreciated thanks . Only mod is an axle back greddy .

When you're slowing down and your foot is on the brake... Do you hear it then?

No

I am hoping it's not the cv joint as when initial tension is applied on it from a stand still and moving forward or reversing the clicking noise is evident and then once in motion the noise disappears . Thanks for your thoughts .

I heard the same clicking noise behind the driver side near the B pillar, it seems to come from the window hitting either the roller or a metal part in the door. Because it went away for a few seconds after putting firm pressure on the window while waiting at a light. Of course I don't hear it once the car is in motion from header/exhaust noise...

Sounds like a cv joint. Are you lowered?
