That is good to know, it isn't obvious from the page or the two videos. Although the gigantic list of specific makes might have made it obvious, companies have done the same type of thing for universal products.

No, the description is pretty clear. In other words, unlike your competitors, the angle and position of your mount are not adjustable (without bending it, which if I'm understanding correctly you don't recommend). What if I don't like the angle you selected and would prefer to select my own? What if I would like it a little more toward the center, or a little more toward the fender?

I've got nothing against you or your product. It's just that your product has fewer features for the money than your competitor.

I have the ptuning kit, great price and has great adjustability.

That's a very generous offer. Actually going to look into your company now to see what else you guys offer.

That's a classy offer, and I appreciate it. However, I can see what I need to see from the pictures and video. With the one I bought from your competitor, I adjusted it a few times before I got it right where I wanted it, which was off center from the bolt on both axes. I initially had it centered on the bolt the way yours is designed, but I didn't like it there. So I moved it down and toward the nose. Looking at the pics of it installed on other people's BRZs, I don't have to put it on my own car to be able to tell you I don't like where your mount locates the plate.

That's your major weakness. It's clear that it's easy to install. Build quality appears to be decent. It's the fact that it's not adjustable that is simply a deal breaker for me. Perhaps you're betting on ease of installation at the cost of adjustability, but for me it lacks necessary features that at least one of your competitors offers at the same price point.

I like your attitude, though, so I'll keep an eye on your company for future products.

As an user of the Raceseng one, here's my two cents:

1. As a license plate tow mount ONLY, it is overpriced.
2. As license plate mount AND tow hook/GoPro mount, it is the best bang for the buck on the market.
3. The adjustment was done once on the plate mount ball joint when I first got it. I have never adjusted the front mount since and I've installed/removed the license plate mount/tow/GoPro mount over 200 times for the track. The inner set screw needs to be adjusted once for the tow, and you readjust the license plate base based on the tow hook set screw adjustment.

At the end of the day, some parts are worth the expense and some are not. The Raceseng mount has been perfect for me given my above average track usage of my car.

So...I do offer GoPro and tow hook mounts also. I had never really considered making them all into one thing? Would a lot of you guys be interested in that, I could make it happen for you.

Has anyone considered modifying a tow hook with a plate to attach the license plate to? Stock tow hook can't cost more than what 10$?

So how would you propose mounting this plate onto the stock tow hook with anything other than rope, zip ties, or straps?

And how would you keep the plate straight?

(I ask the question because you have not thought about this in great detail, and once you do you'll realize this is about the worst way to relocate the front plates. Yes you can modify the stock tow hook but you'd also assume the person has fab skills w/ proper tools.)

Weld it? Drill and tap?

I haven't looked into it but didn't someone mention it using a really weird thread? If that's the thing to overcome, get a tow hook, chop the loop, do some welding or other modification process to attach a plate(to which the license plate will affix) to the stump of the hook. It won't be as fancy as racesengs but it'll be cheap
