E85 + ECUTEK & RACEROM

Hi, first, my apologies if it is somewhere here hidden, but I didnt found it.

I have Ecutek on my car, I am considering buying Racerom upgrade (might be relevant).

I want to use E85 in my car and I found some very nice FF kit you probably know from you-know-who, but the cost of it is too high - $600 for kit, $300 for map, $150 for FF upgrade and some extras. I see advantages in FF kits, but I am able to run pure RON98/95 or E85 without mixing them - I dont want to pay for expensive stuff I dont need like some BT content analyzer.
I also found a kit from Easton, but marketing is way behind and I would like to have the best map possible for my type of headers/intake combo.

My question is, what do I need except for new E85 ready map?
Is it possible to buy Zeitronix analyzer ($380) and use map from you-know-who? ($300 + $150)

What am I missing? Thanks.

Edit:
From what I understood I need only map with FF on. I dont need any additional HW, right? So why are all companies selling some blackboxes with the tune?

OFT !!!! ( around 400- 450 shipped on here) 5 loadable maps (E85, oct 91, 93, ect), free future maps offers, new feature updates all the time, and good resale value.

Dude, I already have Ecutek on my car and the programming kit.
I am not switching to OFT, nobody in my country use it.

Ops lol

You need to buy the ethanol content analyzer(black box thing) if you plan on running Flex-Fuel. It's what makes it "Flex-Fuel".

You may be able to get someone to make you an E85 only tune. Requiring you to switch maps every time you fill up with different fuel. ECUtek isn't cheap, and if you have it, expect to pay the price. Good luck

Edit: Just because no one uses the OFT in your country, doesn't mean you can't use it. They offer E-tunes that only require you to datalog while driving and send it in. Not too difficult. Just FYI. Though it is almost not worth it to switch if you already have ECUtek

And if anything goes wrong, I would be screwed, no thanks.
I dont mind paying $300 for good E85 tune, FF would be nice, but not worth extra $750 + delivery + 36% import duties.

Can anyone recommend a good E85 tune for full Nameless exhaust?

If i'm not mistaken if you buy the flex fuel kit from Delicious Tuning you can get ECUTEC tunes from them. And this system will adjust your tune automatically for what ever fuel is being used. I would suggest giving Delicious Tuning a yell.

If you have an open tune then it'd be quite easy to do your own E85 or even FlexFuel tunes on ECUtek. The latter will really require the RaceROM upgrade as you'll need custom maps to do it, however you could just use the OTS E85 maps if you're happy to switch.

Sure, but there is a problem with huge price point, as mentioned above.

Now this is something :-)
Only thing missing in this is to finetune my current tune.

Idk if it's the good thing to do but you can use oft tunes on the ecutek. Just open the files and they program right into the car
