Not sure if possible movies from iphone
 

Ok so not sure if it's possible but I want to be able to play movies from my iPhone on the stock 2012 gts head unit. Just so passengers can watch movies whilst on road trips and what not. Any ideas on how to do it? And/ or if it's possible to do? Thanks

P.s. When I've plugged iPhone in via usb cable and played a movie or video screen on iPhone comes up connected to TV device? Not sure if helps? Thanks

I don't know about your stock HU but I know with my 2013 FR-S stock HU it wasn't possible...

Even if you can play video however - the factory HU will block video playback while E-Brake is not engaged (for safety) and only play the audio

This is why I replaced my useless stock HU

Ok keen to find out if possible on stock head unit as wanting to be tight arse haha. Nar I disconnected the handbrake wire on the unit so I will function while driving. If I do have to replace it what do you suggest to replace with while being on cheaper side? Cheers
