X-Pipe with Muffler delete
Going to get my BRZ soon and looking to do some exhaust mods! I'm not looking to get an exhaust but just do a simple muffler delete and add some nice tips. Has anyone done only a muffler delete? If so, any comments on it? Any videos?

We have two muffler deletes, one released one soon to be released. The current release is a single exit track axleback w/ no mufflers, just a single outlet. We will probably offer a tip on it at some point, potentially a single small canister muffler like the ones we build in house, but if it is the only thing you do on the car exhaust-wise, the muffler is absolutely unnecessary.
Here's a link to the product page. The design saves about 23lbs off the factory exhaust system. http://shop.namelessperformance.com/...14143_zoom.jpg Our second design will be similar to our street muffled axleback but will simply have no mufflers in it. Should be getting that mocked up sometime next week and tested out on a local FRS here perhaps the week after. Have a rotated turbo kit for the STi to design next week (HTA3586R w/ Tial 1.06 Exhaust Housing) or we'd probably be test fitting it then. Here's a shot of the muffled axleback: http://shop.namelessperformance.com/...33723_zoom.jpg PM me if you would like more details. I can post some video up here very soon of the track axleback. It's surprisingly quiet, no drone in the cabin, etc. Kinda shocked us actually. Dyno wise, both exhausts made the same amount of power. Combined with our high flow catted 2.5" downpipe we hit 19whp at the very top end of the powerband with average hp gains in the 8-12whp range and torque right around the same amount. Jason |

That's a pretty good video of the AxleBack/Downpipe. Zero drone inside the car, sounds great outside. Optional with 4" Mufflers or Muffler Delete. The video is 5" mufflers. Helps to build your own mufflers - we use the best packing material on the market. It's a medium density ceramic wool.
