Cool weather track day tire advice

Hey everyone, I had just signed up for an early November HPDE event at summit point. I've got a set of Wedssports coming in and wondering if anyone has any advice on tires for a possible low 40 to 50 degree track day. I was thinking about picking up a set of the Michelin PSS but not sure if the lower temps would hurt performance much. and theyre on sale right now in the size Im looking for, 245/40/17. I was thinking of getting a set of RS3s but from what Ive been reading, theyre pretty sketch in low temps.

any help/tips would be appreciated :)

I'll be there that weekend for NASA Fall Finale and I was just planning on running the same RE-71R's I've been using all summer. They get up to temperature quickly and I'm counting on it being warm late into winter like last year.
