Camera settings for in cockpit shots
What camera are you using and what is your preferred settings for in-cockpit videos?
I have an old GoPro Hero HD that I've mounted on the rear window upside-down. 720P and a wide shot. It's decent but I've seen nicer videos with people using GoPro in cockpit. Curious what everyone is using. |
I really like @Lunatic's viewpoint. Been meaning to ask him about it. ORP a couple weeks ago.

I am happy with the viewing angle after I made some changes
I've been happy with this combo below (simply attached the Go PRO roll bar mount to the Arkon extension mount): Later I've placed the extension arm to my seat since I was moving the passenger seat back and forth and changing the angle between sessions... https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/5z...=w1295-h728-no http://goo.gl/SRL6fD http://goo.gl/pMNebU here are some vids with this setup [ame="http://youtu.be/D-mPfYoUFns"]https://youtu.be/D-mPfYoUFns[/ame] [ame="http://youtu.be/hIgpo7q_6GI"]https://youtu.be/hIgpo7q_6GI[/ame] |

Here's Chuckwalla Valley Raceway with my Nexus 7 and CMS data. The bungy cords keep it from shaking.
