DIY Silver Gauge Cluster trim removal
So I've only seen this done once before but like many i am in the process of removing all Silver trim in my car and recoloring it. A piece almost no one changes is the gauge cluster trim around the center RPM gauge.
First follow these steps to remove the gauge cluster whole Then simply remove both the plastic clear from and black back by unclipping the 6-8 clips around each part (easy) then there are 5 clips to remove the silver trim piece http://i62.tinypic.com/2ypcjs8.jpg then simply wrap/paint and replace! took me about 20 minutes total id say? finished pics: (PS i know a lot of people don't like gold but it matches my exterior. could be way worse like when people drown everything in one color. I'm just doing touches of gold and carbon fiber) POST YOUR PICS AFTER! http://i62.tinypic.com/2j6adub.jpg http://i60.tinypic.com/jkhy5w.jpg http://i57.tinypic.com/2vakydv.jpg http://i60.tinypic.com/2q8c1mx.jpg |
Ohhhh nice I'm probably going to paint mine black. I don't really like the silver accents in the interior. The gold color looks really good especially with your front badge on your asphalt frs.

Where did you get the white piece?

Is that the new OVO trim that Drizzy released?
