Anyone thought or done a Hyundai Genesis swap?
Sounds weird I know but the 2.0t is basically an EVOX engine mounted the right way (rwd) 271/275 and the 3.8 is 348/295 both are dirt cheap pulled in the 1400-less than 2K range and look like a transmission adapter or even the whole unit can be done.

don't do it.
garbage it's not 'essentially' anything but a pile of shit. open deck block, don't let the hype fool you. |
348/295 for a 1500 longblock sure does seem like cheap fun though
|
Until it blows at 3-8k miles like 4 of my buddies. The only thing it essentially is, is garbage

GTFO! End thread.

In before it's locked!
Flame proofing engaged. |

Hehe came before @Guff

The Gainsco guys are running a 3.8 powered PWC car, and it's pretty damn fast. They're running a solid 12 seconds faster than us around our home track.

$10,000 dollars later........
you have a 2.0L POS that has now gone up in weight, only makes around $250whp, and has upset the low COG that made the car actually good. |
Do what you want if you can afford it!
|
After test driving a 2.0T genesis, I'd never want that engine in my car.
