Mod ideas?

Just got my BRZ about a month ago. I bought an Invidia N1 exhaust and it just came in yesterday. Trying to get more parts. Any suggestions?

My first mod was a baggage net so my wife's purse didn't keep spilling all over the trunk. Made a huge improvement to cornering capability. After that, lightweight wheels and stickier tires made a lot more sense....

there's not many aftermarket parts available for the twins. i'm surprised you even found an exhaust.

Yeah I found out about that exhaust because I watch TJ Hunts YouTube.

Get a performance drop-in air filter such as K&N. Cheap, easy, quick gains. No need to do cold air intake, as the factory intake performs quite well (minus the factory filter).

Probably the best mod for the money on this car is a tune. You can get the Open Flash Tablet (OFT) for around $500, and it is completely reversible, that is you can return the car to the stock tune at any time. The OFT comes with "off the shelf" aka "canned" tunes, so there is no need to take it to a dyno in most cases. If you plan on going forced induction anytime soon, you might want to hold off until you find a tuner as they may not use OFT for their tunes. On the other hand, the OFT is resellable because the tune can be "unmarried" from the car, and then the OFT may be sold and used on another car.

After you get a tune, the next best power mod would be a catless header (again, OFT has free canned tunes for aftermarket headers). However, this will probably make your Invidia N1 very loud especially if you got the catless front pipe.

The next best mod (if not the best, it depends what kind of driving you are doing) would be performance tires.

For aesthetics, you could add mud flaps if you like how they look.

What are you using your car for? What do you want out of it? Show car? Street car? Track car?

Just slap a turbo on it and call it a day.

My vote is for lowering springs or coilovers if you've got the scratch for a decent set and some decent wheels to compliment the lowered stance.
