My sister went to Indotech because my uncle who works nearby recommended it - she needed an alignment for her Elantra. My sister asked the owner how long it will take and he was very abrupt and extremely rude to my sister with his responses.
My sister has a high tolerance for bad customer service but this incident really upset her. She left without the alignment and wrote her experience via a review on Indotech's Yelp page. Apparently the owner didn't like the factual review and approached my uncle's boss to tell my uncle to tell her to take it off.
She took it off due to respect to my uncle and his boss, but she is quite upset with the entire situation and how Indotech handled it. My sister and I both felt it would have been better if Indotech responded via Yelp with an apology rather than simply requesting the review to be taken off, which was very unprofessional.
Since you know the owner, i am pretty sure he's a nice guy and it might have been a bad day for him, but his way of approaching these type of situations should change.
