HID's from 10th Release Series
 

Ok, got a situation.
I have a FRS 10th Series with the GT86 Headlights looks but got into a crash and both of my headlights are broken.
I bought the Winjet Headlights because of the similarity but I don't know if I can use the HID system (ballast, bulbs, wiring, etc.) from the GT86 headlights into the winjets.

Has anybody tried this?

no it will not be plug and play, because the brz/gt86 head lights are 8 pins while the winjet uses 6 pin connector, since your ballast/bulbs still works i suggest getting

or get a set of brz headlights here for cheap and reuse the ballast/bulbs. (brz headlight needs slight repining)

He said he already bought the winjets.

They will sadly not be plug and play the bulbs in the car stock are d4s winjets take h7. I'd suggest picking up a morimoto hid kit for your winjets also a retro fit kit if you have the money.
You'll also need to repin the winjets as mentioned above since they come with 6 pin and your car is 8.
