Beginners Drift Event This Sunday, June 24

If you've ever wanted to learn how to drift or test out your FR-S on the track, now is the time. There will be 3 courses running at the same time ranging from beginner to advanced(donuts and figure 8s, J-turn, main course).

Driver cap is at 24 so you'll get A LOT of drive time and instructors will be on hand to help.

It's $86 to register and you'll need a Snell approved helmet. There are a few spot left! Hope to see some of you out there!

Note: The track charges you $10 dollars to enter which is separate from the registration fee.

i will be in the area in mid aug, will you have another run then?

dont have my frs yet,will they have cars to drift for people without car..??

Sorry, but this is the only track event we have planned this year. But I'm sure other organizations will be holding drift events around that time.

Sorry, no loaner cars but you are welcome to come and check it out. I will be testing out my stock FR-S before I start adding parts.

Er, my FR-S isn't broken in yet and I still have my stock tires on it... will that be okay? O_o

I gotta see if I can borrow a helmet from someone, too... :o\

You might want to reach 1000 miles before you start driving it hard.
Stock tires are fine but I would highly advise bringing an extra pair. You may need them depending on how much fun you're having. There is a tire mounter onsite.

I would love to go, but I'm not sure I can fit in my car with a helmet, even if I tilt the seat back. I'll have to try :)

I'll be there saturday for the FR shootout that Import Tuner is putting on,

If my transmission survives 388lb/ft for friday and saturday I may see if you have spots left....I think Raceline is gonna do 1/4 mile drags on the front straight of Big willow Sunday also.

...looks like waiting's a better idea, then. can't afford a second set of tires right now. And I'm only around 650 miles right now. I'd be doing the beginner thing, though, so dunno how hard I'd really be driving.

you can always drive up anyway, nice little road trip for the car, or you can come up saturday, I know Moto Miwa will be there for the FR shootout, cusco is bringing their FR-s and BRz I'll be trying to get my 240sx on the podium, mike (forum name here) will be there helping me out, etc.

I'll be there hanging out and watching eveyrone have fun, still not broken in yet.
