No extra mods are needed, it can be ran on a stock car with their stage 1 map.
I bought mine from Mod Bargains on Black Friday, but a lot of places have them for right around the same price ($495)

A used one should be just as good as new (or very close). They go on sale on the board often for around $400. If you have an e85 station nearby. Run your tank of pump gas nearly dry, fill up, flash to the appropriate e85 map. Enjoy the extra power.

the only e85 place is in center city, and im from the suburbs of philly.... not woth the drive :/ but deff gonna look around and hopefully find a place that may use a coupon of some sort

thanks steve! and now i cant decide... either buddy club spec II exhaust or OFT... i know it would be best to buy OFT first, but im tired of my car not sounding like its on... plus i dont want to waste time and just do cat-back and then later down the road do the header. id rather do header and cat-back at the same time so i know roughly how many miles are on them incase id sell down the road. whats your opinion on what i should do man? and if i purchased the OFT, id like to find more of an economy tune until i have money for the full exhaust and drop in filter.... do they even make an economy tune?

economy tune = shift early and drive gently

already do so, i get 30.6mpgs all day, and the most ive gotten highway was like 32, but it wasnt a long trip... sat in the right lane doing the speed limit the whole way, in cruise control, hahah

I must be getting old because the idea of having a louder car with no noticeable performance gains over stock is unappealing to me. Then again, even with my turbo FRS I am running a custom exhaust with resonator and the largest muffler that could fit under the car :)

even with just a catless header it will be louder and combined with tune will be more power less torque dip,

as other guys said economy is all about driving style, the oft tunes should not change economy if rpm below 3000 low loads.

purchased! also buying a buddy club spec II exhaust this weekend.... two step is gonna be loud! haha
