Engine code 1264. Losing throttle control. Helpp

I'm getting code 1264 and I lose throttle control. The engine stay on but I can floor the gas and nothing would happen. I have to restart the car to regain throttle control and this would happen randomly when I'm driving.

I have a turbo frs with DW 770cc injectors and their 65c fuel pump. All the connections are good and I recently put in the new pigtail/connectors from DW.

Any ideas on what's wrong and what I can do to fix this? Thanks.

The reason of Subaru Outback B1264 OBD-II Engine Trouble Code is B1264 Servo Motor Foot Circuit Failure. Probably the same for the FRS.

That's what the symptoms sound like to me.

These are drive by wire cars. If the rheostat at the pedal is not working the computer doesn't know you stepped on the gas pedal

This is also probably what happens when cars go into full acceleration mode and kill their drivers-- the computer thinks you want full power because the foot pedal has shorted out or whatever.

My friend got the P1262 code this weekend. Did you get everything fix? What was the end results?
