Short/ Quick question;

http://koreanautoimports.com/86-matt...frs-subaru-brz

Will that emblem fit on ther steering wheel for a direct replacement of the Scion badge?

If it's meant for the front or trunk of the car I think it would be too big for the steering wheel. I'm pretty sure the emblem on the steering wheel is smaller. And not sure if you want a projectile on your steering wheel when/if your airbag ever goes off...

Are you referring to this product on that website - http://koreanautoimports.com/scion-f...mblem-overlay/ ?

In which case, it states that it is a direct stick-on replacement over the existing steering wheel emblem, and without the need to remove anything.

No the one I quoted. I know that they have that 86 emblem to put over the steering wheel but quite frankly I do not like the look of that one. But thanks anyways. Maybe I'll end up making my own.

Ah - yeah seeing as the one you linked would be for the hood or trunk, I doubt it would look good being that the emblem is so large, and likely would have problems sticking to the material since the steering wheel isn't a flat surface - especially in the heat.

You also wouldn't want that large of a piece of solid stainless steel getting shot at your face in the event of airbag deployment - best bet would be to make your own if you're unhappy with the available options; this is why I haven't bothered replacing the emblem on my steering wheel even though I'm not a big fan of the "Scion" one.

This has been discussed numerous times. The flap opens upward if the emblem did come off from the air bag deploying its go in the roof.
